About

Liza Suzanna was born in LA and moved to NYC when she was 14.  She graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in drama and a minor in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. At NYU Tisch, Liza studied theatre at the Atlantic Acting School, TV/Film at Stonestreet Studios, and trained vocally at Steinhardt. Liza has loved performing from a young age, from singing in her temple's choir to playing Maria in The Sound of Music on stage to writing and starring in her own web series, "No Such Thing As Too Much Information”. Liza made her off-Broadway debut in Anne Frank, a Musical, as part of the ensemble. She was also the understudy for all the female characters and performed as Margot Frank for several nights. She hopes to make people laugh and feel better about their daily struggles by bringing real-life emotions and experiences to her performances that people can relate to. Being Jewish is a big part of her identity and upbringing, and she likes to bring that into the stories she tells as well. She has gone viral on social media for her Broadway Bat Mitzvah Medley clips. You can check them out on her entertainment Instagram @liza_suzanna_journey. Liza has produced and performed in cabarets at 54 Below and The Green Room 42.  You can see Liza regularly filming and performing at Don’t Tell Mama, taking dance classes at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, and working on a new Medley to perform with her headset microphone.

When Liza is not performing, she enjoys doing taste tests of Oat Haus’ new granola butter flavors with friends. Her favorite flavor is red velvet. She also loves watching Curb Your Enthusiasm with her family, going on walks, trying a new Harney & Sons tea flavor, and getting non-bruised apples from the grocery store.
